Join the Fight!
Pick your team—North or South Lowell—and show your support for Food Fight 2019! Food Fight is our biggest annual fundraiser and runs April 22 through June 1, 2019. When you support Food Fight, your generosity reaches Lowell families in crisis every month who visit Flat River Outreach Ministry (FROM), but it’s not just about food. Your gift also funds employment assistance, home repairs, utility assistance, children’s programming, tax preparation, and other programs to help meet families in need.
The amazing support of the community in 2018 helped us serve
- Over 1,783 families in our food pantry
- 11,730 meals to kids over winter, spring and summer breaks
- 421 children with a backpack full of school supplies to start the school year off right
- 122 households with energy bill payment assistance
- 84 families with one-time financial assistance to help meet needs in a time of crisis or unexpected life event
Due to your generous donations we were able to raise over $125,000 (in food and financial gifts) to help us continue to walk alongside our neighbors in need.
Team NORTH may be the winner this year, but all of our community wins when we come together to support each other. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for your support.
Help us celebrate the end of Food Fight by joining us for our Live Action Clue Night. This family-friendly event is FREE and open to children ages 8 and up (just like the board game). Work together as a family/group/friends/etc. to find out whodunnit. Talk with live characters, search rooms for clues and find out if you solved the crime. Find out more details and get tickets at http://fromlowell.org/calendar/clue
Thank you to these generous Matching Sponsors who committed to matching any NEW donation or donation INCREASE to Food Fight 2019!
