Need a ride in the Lowell area?
FROM offers a friendly transportation service! You can get a ride Monday through Thursday, between 10 AM and 4 PM.
While a $2.00 donation each way is appreciated, it's completely optional.
To hop on board, you must qualify for other FROM services.
Just remember to book your ride a week in advance so we can schedule our amazing volunteer drivers!

Why do rides have to be scheduled a week in advance?
Right now, we have a limited number of volunteer drivers using one fleet vehicle, so we need to schedule in advance.
How do I qualify for this service?
If you qualify for other FROM services, then you also qualify for the Transportation Program. To qualify for FROM services, you must live in the Lowell Area School District and make 300% of the Federal Poverty Level or less.

What hours and days do you offer rides?
Rides are available Monday-Thursday between 10AM and 4PM.
Requirements for Volunteer Drivers:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must possess a chauffeur’s license or be willing to obtain it. (FROM is willing to pay for you to obtain it with a guarantee of completing at least 5 rides)
- Have had an unrestricted license for at least 5 years.
- Commit to at least one driving shift of at least two hours per week.
- Attend a FROM Transportation orientation and training with the Client Services Coordinator and Senior Volunteer.
